JOB OPPORTUNITY NOTICE
Guest Services: Mobility Services Attendant
Levi's Stadium (Santa Clara, CA)

Role/Responsibilities:
Provide guests with a consistent level of friendly, impressive service that exceeds their expectations during Levi's Stadium events. Provide our guests with disabilities or those who have limited mobility, assistance throughout the stadium. Mobility Services Attendants may be positioned as a Wheelchair Attendant, a Courtesy Cart Driver or a Mobility Services Station Attendant in the outer perimeter of the stadium's parking lots.

Wheelchair Attendant:

  • Develop personalized service for guests with all different types of disabilities using the guide lines presented in the Levi's Stadium ADA training.
  • Conduct pre-event checks on all equipment issued in preparation for guests.
  • Pick up guest's from designated or dispatched location. Escort the guest to their seat and coordinate any additional mobility assistance that might be needed upon drop off.

Courtesy Cart Driver:

  • Provide our guests with disabilities or those who have limited mobility, assistance throughout Levi's Stadium's main parking lot by driving a 6-8 passenger golf cart. 
  • Service outer lots designated by the Mobility Services Plan in coordination with the Santa Clara Police Department.
  • Develop personalized service for guests with all different types of disabilities, using the guidelines presented in Levi's Stadium's ADA training.
  • Conduct pre-event checks on all equipment issued in preparation for guests.
    Escort and direct guests to their proper gates and coordinate any additional mobility assistance that might be needed upon drop off.

Mobility Services Station Attendant:

  • Manage a Mobility Services Station located in the Parking Lots of Levi's Stadium.
  • Respond to guest questions and concerns as guests approach Levi's Stadium.
  • Communicate with Mobility Services Dispatch the need for a courtesy cart to be dispatched and transport guests that need mobility assistance to the main entrances of the stadium.

Role Specifics:

  • Must be able to respond to and deescalate conflicts between guests.
  • Must be available for additional ADA training class prior to first event.
  • Respond promptly to guests' comments and concerns to turn negative situations into positive experiences.
  • Engage guests to educate them on location of all services provided to our guests with disabilities. (i.e. Assisted listening devices, services for visually impaired guests, or any issue for guests with special needs.)
  • This position requires superior customer service skills with keen attention to the needs of our guest's with disabilities.
  • Active listening skills are critical.
  • Be both available and accurate to guests in providing them event and venue specific information.
  • To ensure our guests with disabilities are treated with dignity and respect.
  • To ensure our guest with disabilities are able to take full advantage of the Levi's Stadium event day experience.
  • While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task. Position requires constant attention to precise details, accuracy and following simple to complex instructions.
  • This position also requires constant use of interpersonal skills to communicate with guests in order to develop relationships that will enhance the guests' entertainment experience.
  • This position requires excellent communication skills with other Playmakers throughout the stadium, to ensure that the guest's needs are met from start to finish.

Hours: 6-10 hours at all San Francisco 49ers games and other special events. Report times are generally 2-3 hours prior to the start of an NFL Football games and end generally one hour following the event. Scheduled special positions may require working earlier or later.

Scheduling: 

  • You must be available to work all Levi's Stadium Large-Scale events denoted as Priority events.  These include the NHL Stadium Series, WrestleMania, College Football, Monster Jam and Supercross in addition to 49ers home football games
  • Most shifts are evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Shift lengths vary, but range from six to eight hours, normally beginning three hours prior to the start of a game.

Uniform:
You will be required to wear the uniform provided by Levi's Stadium and place a $60.00 deposit.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a guest driven environment in preferred
  • Day-time availability a plus
  • Must enjoy working with a variety of people and have a service-oriented approach to work.
  • Be able to display excellent communication skills, and use a two way radio professionally.
  • Ability to assist a guest in and out of a wheelchair.
  • Ability to bend/stoop/twist
  • Ability to push and pull a wheelchair with guests of various sizes up and down ramps.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Work well as part of a large team in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a strong capacity to outwardly care about the well-being of others
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid CA Driver's License 

Wage:
$15.50 per hour
